Silencecraftco provides bespoke acoustic engineering and soundproofing design solutions for residential and commercial spaces. All project engagements, technical assessments, and custom implementations are executed under individual service contracts established between Silencecraftco and the client.
1.1 Contract Formation: A legally binding contract is established only after the client submits a project inquiry via our communication form, receives a formal written quotation, confirms acceptance in writing, and successfully remits the required initial deposit.
1.2 Tailored Specifications: Given the bespoke nature of our acoustic optimization projects, all deliverables, schedules, and specifications are detailed in the individual project proposal provided prior to project commencement.
- Quotation, Deposit, and Payment Terms
To ensure seamless project administration and resource allocation, project fulfillment adheres to a structured milestone payment schedule:
2.1 Initial Quotation: Clients submit project dimensions and requirements through our online communication portal. Following an initial review and feasibility assessment, Silencecraftco provides a detailed, non-binding written quotation.
2.2 Deposit Payment: Upon formal acceptance of the quotation, a deposit payment must be paid prior to the initiation of any design or engineering work.
2.3 Final Balance Settlement: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the contracted design and engineering scope, immediately prior to the final handover of project documentation and deliverables.
2.4 Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely via accepted payment methods indicated at checkout. All transactions are denominated in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Project Execution and Delivery Timeline
3.1 Fulfillment Process: Upon receipt of the required deposit, Silencecraftco initiates the custom acoustic engineering workflow. Estimated timelines for project completion and milestone deliveries are outlined in the individualized project proposal.
3.2 Client Cooperation: Timely delivery depends on the client providing accurate spatial data, access, and necessary feedback during the evaluation and drafting phases. Delays in client communication or information provision may proportionately extend project timelines.
3.3 Handover: Upon completion of all project phases and clearance of the final balance payment, final project files, design documentation, and engineering blueprints are delivered electronically or via secure transfer.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
Because every acoustic engineering solution is custom-designed for a specific client environment, specific conditions apply to cancellations and refunds:
4.1 Pre-Commencement Cancellation: Clients may cancel a project before engineering and design work has commenced. If canceled prior to work starting, payments made (excluding any incurred administrative or transaction fees) may be eligible for a refund.
4.2 Post-Commencement Status: Once custom engineering or evaluation work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable as it covers dedicated engineering hours and preparatory resource allocation.
4.3 Statutory Rights: Nothing in this policy affects mandatory statutory consumer rights under German law (specifically the German Civil Code, BGB) and European consumer protection directives applicable to custom-manufactured or personalized services.

5.1 Governing Law: These terms and all related service agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and applicable European Union regulations.
5.2 Consumer Dispute Resolution: In compliance with EU regulations on Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), consumers may access the European Commission’s ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Silencecraftco is neither committed nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
